Delta Coastal Selects

Johnston Heights Secondary (Surrey, BC)

Caitlin Limmayog-Danielson’s commitment to the 2017-2018 Royals team has given the squad a dangerous option out wide. Described by her peers as quick, tenacious, and dedicated, the 2015-2016 Johnston Heights Senior Girls Soccer MVP will undoubted find herself a place on the field. Her ability to play an offensive and defensive role will add to her already high value, and will add to the team’s depth in all wide positions.

Head coach Kevan Cornes of Caitlin’s U18 DCS Sting club had this to say about the winger, “Delta Coastal Selects are proud to see Caitlin take the next step in her soccer experience by playing for Douglas College. She is an outstanding individual off the field and on the field her pace, skill and determination will cause fits for the opposing defenders”.

Her new head coach, Chris Laxton also had his share of praise for recruit. “Caitlin is an outside player who can play up front and at the back. She is attack-minded, tenacious, and dynamic. She is a great addition to our program and I look forward to working with her”.

Limmayog-Danielson was not shy sharing how she felt about joining the Royals. “I am extremely excited, nervous, and motivated to start this new chapter in my life. I'm delighted to be a part of this program and I am prepared to contribute to the team”.

Neeraj Braich

5’2” Fullback

Surrey United SC

Queen Elizabeth Secondary (Surrey, BC)

With the addition of Neeraj Braich from Surrey United SC to the 2017-2018 squad, the Royals have added a player who has the ability to build up the play from the back and open up the field. On the pitch, Neeraj can best be described as a physical and versatile player, while also maintaining a vocal presence. In other words, a fantastic fit on any team.

Surrey United SC’s Technical Director had nothing but praise for the flamboyant fullback. “Neeraj has been with Surrey United since mini soccer. She has come through all of our player development programs and has turned into a fantastic soccer player at U18.  She has always put her team and teammates first and these qualities will make her a major asset to the Douglas College program."

Royals head coach, Chris Laxton shared his thoughts on the signing, and what it will mean for the team. “Neeraj is a modern day fullback who can make an impact in and out of possession. She is a strong technical player and can read the game well. She will be a great fit within our style of play and will allow us more flexibility in how we setup”.

“I am excited to be a part of the Royals soccer program and excited to continue my soccer career with one of the best teams in the PACWEST division. I hope to bring a lot to the team and contribute to the success of the program”. – Neeraj Braich
