Nick Murray named as new Head Athletic Therapist

The Douglas College Royals have named Nick Murray as their new Head Athletic Therapist.

 

Murray brings seven years of experience with him, having worked with elite amateur and professional athletes, and with notable organizations such as Hockey Canada, the Vancouver Canucks, and the Vancouver Giants.

 

Douglas College's Athletic Manager Brian McLennon warmly welcomed Murray to the program. "We are excited to have Nick join the Royals Athletics family," McLennon said. "I am confident his experience and background will continue to build and grow the capacity of our AT operations."

 

Along with his extensive experience and knowledge of human kinetics, Murray is also certified in safeTALK Suicide Alertness by the Canadian Mental Health Association. His expertise in both fields with be a great asset to the Royals.

 

"I am really happy to be joining the Royals family at what seems like a really exciting time for the athletics program," say Murray. "I hope that I can build on the great foundation that has already been created in the Athletic Therapy department".
