While the Royals men’s basketball team are more known for their success on the domestic level, this Friday will bring a unique challenge for them. The Royals will be hosting a friendly against international opponent, Shantou University. Coming all the way from Shantou, China, the team will be scrimmaging with the Royals at the New Westminster Campus gym on Friday at 6pm.

               Although it is a friendly, both teams will be fielding full rosters including new players. This would be an excellent chance to see some of the new talent the Royals have coming up, as well as seeing how the current team stacks up against an overseas opponent. Come out and support your Royals!
