Attending a Royals Game

Thank you for supporting the Douglas College Royals! We look forward to seeing you in the gym, cheering on our student-athletes.

Here is what you need to know about attending a Douglas Royals game:

1. Proof of vaccines is no longer required to attend games. Please visit https://www2.gov.bc.ca/gov/content/covid-19/vaccine/proof for complete information.
2. Masks are now a personal choice. The Provincial Health Officer maintains that masks are an effective way to reduce the likelihood of transmission and encourages everyone to make choices depending on personal circumstances. Many members of our campus community may continue to choose to wear a mask, and we encourage understanding and compassion for people’s individual circumstances and choices.
3. We encourage you to keep good hand hygiene. Sanitization stations will be available throughout the venue.
4. Do not come if you’re ill or are experiencing symptoms, even if you test negative for COVID-19.
5. We are completely cashless! All transactions that require payment will be processed using debit or credit through our point-of-sale. No cash transactions will be accepted.

FAN CODE OF CONDUCT

Douglas College is committed to creating a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable experience for all visitors. We encourage our visitors to conduct themselves respectfully during events. Visitors displaying behaviors that are unruly, disruptive, threatening, or violent in nature, including intimidating, abusive, or discriminatory harassment based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, gender identity, ability, and/or sexual orientation, will be removed from the facility.

General Admission (19+): $6
Youth (Under 19) & Douglas College Students (with valid ID): FREE

PARKING
There are a couple of options for those driving to our New Westminster campus. Paid underground parking is available Monday through Saturday, closing at 11:30pm. The underground parking is closed on Statutory Holidays and Sundays. The 8th St. entrance will be open during varsity events on Sundays.

FOOD CONCESSION (Available during PACWEST league matches only)
We offer a modest concession stand with pre-packaged snacks, candy, and drinks. A fan favourite is our freshly popped popcorn, so don't forget to grab yourself a bag! A reminder from above: we are cashless now, so remember to bring your credit or debit card for any purchases.

FAN GEAR
Pick up the latest edition of our fan apparel at the gate. All funds go directly back to the teams in support of our student-athletes.
