Chargers player of the match Vitor Pereira racked in 14 kills leading the way. Eduardo Bida and Brendan Folkerts added 16 and 14 kills respectively giving them a balanced attack.

The Chargers momentum continued onto the second as Folkerts' set point secured the second frame 25-19.

The Royals finally found their stride in the third.  After the score reached 15-15 the Royals turned up the heat outscoring the Chargers 10-7 the rest of the set, taking it 25-22.
