Douglas Royals to Play One Final Game at CCAA Nationals

The Douglas College Royals Women's Basketball team fell 80-47 to The King's College Eagles in the Bronze semi-final match of the CCAA national tournament.

Although the Royals kept it close at halftime, they ultimately weren't able to make the run necessary to get within striking distance in the second half. Rookie Mackenzie Dalphond led all Royals in scoring with 11 points, while Laini Glover chipped in with 10. Sharlene Siy was named Player of the Game for the Royals at the conclusion of the game for her eight points and four steals off the bench.
