The Douglas College Royals have added two new recruits before the start of the 2024-25 PACWEST Women's Basketball season.

Alexis Hart

Position: Wing
Height: 5'10"
High School: Riverside Secondary
Previous Club Team: VK Basketball
Hometown: Coquitlam, BC
Why did you choose Douglas College: "I loved the girls on the team and knew I could improve my game with such a strong group of women."
Coach Steve Beauchamp's thoughts: "We are excited to have another player with a high school provincial championship pedigree in Alexis, joining our team. With her recovery from knee surgery now in the rear-view mirror, Alexis will have the opportunity to showcase her dynamic shooting and on-court intensity as a Royal."

Neelam Rai

Position: Point Guard
Height: 5'8"
High School: Yale Secondary
Previous Club Team: West Coast Basketball
Hometown: Surrey, BC
