The Douglas College Royals Women's Basketball Team is in a great position to defend their conference title come the new year.

The Royals enter the December break tied for second in the PACWEST standings with a 9-3 record. They've won five straight after losing to the first-place VIU Mariners on November 8th. They're second in points for in the conference and third in points against, showing great skill on both sides of the floor. 2nd year forward is having a strong year, in the top 10 for both points per game and rebounds per game in the PACWEST.

Douglas starts the new year on the road against Langara on Friday, January 10th. Their first home game will be on Friday, January 24th at 6pm against the Capilano Blues.
