The Douglas College Royals Women's Soccer team is poised to defend their PACWEST title this weekend at the PACWEST Soccer Championships.

The Royals are the #2 seed and will play the #3 seed Capilano Blues in the semi-final at 12 p.m. Should they win that game, they'll advance to the Gold Medal game where the VIU Mariners await them.

Douglas is led by PACWEST All-Star and top goalscorer Isabelle Dobbin, as well as fellow All-Stars Pak Tung Tsang and Jessica Lau. Ava Tudhope was also named PACWEST Co-Rookie of the Year.
