After a successful 2024 season that resulted in eight players winning All-Region awards, the Douglas College Royals softball team is ready to go further in 2025. 

The Royals will return four first-team players in outfielder Maddie Akiyama, pitcher Jaidyn Quinn, catcher Emmy Bonville, and utility Kate Hourihane. Douglas finished the 2024 season with a 16-6 overall record and qualified for the NWAC softball championships.

Douglas begins their season on the road on March 1st, when they take on Spokane. NWAC North Region play begins on Wednesday, March 12th, when the Royals face the Olympic Rangers. All home games will be held at Softball City in White Rock, BC.
