This week’s Booster Juice Women’s Soccer Player of the Week is Preet Thandi! Preet was an defensive giant in the Royal’s win against the Quest Kermodes, and tie against the VIU Mariners.

Although she did not make the scoresheet during the weekend, Preet was unstoppable on defence. Her well time tackles and great positioning helped the Royals to a 3-1 win over the Kermodes. Against the Mariners, Preet played an essential shutdown role, keeping the Mariners two to goals, and helping her team grab the tie.

Head coach Chris Laxton had this to say about the stoic defender. “"Preet was composed and confident all weekend. She helped organize the back line out of possession, and made good decisions with and without the ball." Great job Preet!
