The Douglas College Royals Men's Soccer team has advanced to the PACWEST Championship this weekend.

The Royals needed to win their final game of the season and get some help on the out-of-town scoreboard. Both happened, with Douglas earning a 2-0 win over Langara and VIU drawing with Capilano 1-1.

Douglas is the #3 seed in the tournament and will play Capilano on Saturday, October 26th, at 3 p.m. Last year, the Royals were the #1 seed, which allowed them an automatic berth in the Gold Medal Game.
