Basketball splits with BluesJanuary 21, 2020Last Saturday, the Douglas College Royals men’s and women’s basketball hosted the Capilano University Blues in a rematch from Friday nights road tilt which saw the women fall 68-55 and the men snatch a victory 76-70, playing spoilers to the Blues home crowd. Saturday nights affair would eventually end in the same result for the women, falling short 57-54. On the men’s side, a combined 41 points from guards Courtney Anderson and Josiah Mastandrea (who had a season high 20 points) helped the men defeat Capilano 86-71 to take their 10th win of the season.
