Andy and Helen Andrews Memorial Award
This endowment was established in memory of Harold Norman "Andy" Andrews who was with Douglas College from 1972-1984. He was Vice Principal of the McBride Campus and Director of Program Planning and Development. The recipients of this award must demonstrate significant athletic achievement in combination with outstanding academic performance. The award is available for one female and one male student athlete registered with Continuing Education in a Campus Life sponsored athletic program. Applications are available through Campus Life.

Baseball Coaches Association of BC Award
Two awards will be given to students attending Douglas College who are currently playing baseball. The student(s) with the highest GPA in the most recent academic year will receive the award. Preference will be given to B.C. high school graduates. Preference for one of the awards to be given to coaches who apply. Selection will be made by Campus Life.

British Columbia Wrestling Association Award of Distinction 
The British Columbia Wrestling Association is a non-profit organization that was created in 1979. Douglas College and the British Columbia Wrestling Association partnered to create this award to support student wrestlers. 

Centaur Products Sports Award of Distinction
This award is made possible by Centaur Products Inc. and is given to recognize athletic excellence. Candidates must be participating in a two-semester sport at Douglas College and be enrolled in a minimum of nine credits. Selection of the students is made by the Douglas College Athletic Department.

Coach Frick Wheelchair Basketball Award of Distinction
This award was established by Tim Frick, former wheelchair basketball Coach at Douglas College. The goal of the Coach Frick Wheelchair Basketball Award of Distinction is to recognize athletes in different categories of the sport with emphasis on the following: most valuable player, most improved player, most consistent player, the player with the most sportsman-like conduct, and a player who has represented B.C. or Canada. 

Columbia Integrated Health Centre Award of Distinction
Dr. John Dang, Clinic Director of Columbia Integrated Health Centre, established this award in 2014 to celebrate and recognize student athletes who, during the course of the season and from within their respective sports, have sustained an injury and have undergone rehabilitation to return to pre-injury status. An active sportsman himself, he personally relates to athletes who suffer injury and are faced with the challenges of overcoming such physical adversities to return to competition. As a clinician, having treated many injured players, he knows first-hand the mental and physical commitment necessary to return to sports. In honor of such determination and passion for athletics Dr. Dang is proud to recognize these student athletes with this award.

David Munro Basketball Award of Distinction
The candidate(s) for this award must have participated in the Best in the West Basketball SuperCamp. Preference will be given to students who demonstrate leadership both on the court and in the classroom. Student recipients must be positive role models and possess a strong work ethic.

Douglas College Athletic Awards of Distinction
The purpose of this fund is to use the interest to provide financial assistance to students who are members of Douglas College varsity teams. Eligible candidates must participate in a two-semester sport and be recommended by their coaching staff. Applications are available through the Athletics Department.

Douglas College Rugby Award of Distinction
Douglas College Rugby awards shall be distributed to selected student-athletes in either the Fall or Winter semesters. Potential recipients must submit a letter to the executive of the United Rugby Club detailing their previous experience and future aspirations in the sport of rugby, by April 30 of each year. Successful applicants must be registered students at Douglas College or entering Douglas College in either the upcoming Fall or Winter semesters; demonstrate above average skill and dedication in the sport of rugby; and commit to full participation in the club rugby program. Consideration shall be given to those demonstrating financial need.

Gail Moore Memorial Award of Distinction
This award honors Gail Moore, a well-known amateur golfer who was a three-time Canadian Junior Champion, a two-time Canadian Amateur Champion, Canadian Open Champion, three-time member of Canada's World Amateur team, and three-time member of Canada's Commonwealth Team. Two recipients will be selected each year: one female student at Douglas College playing in a competitive collegiate-level golf league and one female golfer residing in BC as chosen by the Moore family. The Douglas College student must be registered in and pass a minimum of nine credits in both the fall and winter semesters and maintain a minimum GPA of 2.1. Both recipients must compete a full schedule in a competitive collegiate-level golf league and demonstrate a 
passion for golf.

Jesse Penner Memorial Award
This award was established in memory of Jesse Penner, a former Douglas College student-athlete on the baseball team. The recipient of this award must be a member of the Douglas College Baseball Team. The recipient must demonstrate a commitment to the team and its players at all times. Special consideration shall be given to applicants who are deemed by the Douglas College Baseball coach to demonstrate leadership, sportsmanship and team spirit.

Jordan Kornberger "Bleed Green" Memorial Award of Distinction
Established by the Douglas Students' Union Athletes council in 2015, the Jordan Kornberger "Bleed Green" Memorial Award of Distinction was created to recognize student athletes who demonstrate characteristics similar to Jordan, such as leadership, school spirit and a strong work ethic. Jordan was a member of the Douglas College Baseball team, and supported of all the College's teams. He is remembered for his charismatic personality, dedication to the game, and endless love for his Douglas College family. The award will be given annually to one male and one female athlete who represent Douglas College.

Labatt Breweries Athletics Award of Distinction
The recipient must show an excellence within a specific area of study or competition, have a minimum GPA of 3.0 and be a registered Douglas College student who is also an athlete on one of the Douglas College sports teams.

Lau Badminton Award of Distinction
This fund may be distributed in the Fall, Winter or Summer semesters to recognize and promote athletic excellence in badminton. It reflects the commitment to Douglas College by Michelle Lau, a longtime staff member. Students must be on the Douglas College Badminton Team, be enrolled in a minimum of nine credits at Douglas College and demonstrate a minimum GPA of 2.0 unless enrolled in the ELLA program, or if being recruited. International students meeting the criteria are also eligible for this award. Candidates for this award will be chosen by Campus Life Awards Selection Committee of Douglas College. 

Margaret Mason Women's Basketball Award of Distinction 
Margaret Mason established this fund in 2007 to support women students playing on the basketball team at Douglas College. Mason played varsity basketball away from home and it was a financial challenge for her parents who, at one time, had three children away at school.  She understands the commitment involved in playing a sport at the college/university level and the hours involved which makes it difficult to get part-time work. Her award is designed to support the commitment shown by a female basketball athlete who is also able to excel academically. 

Reward a Royal 
The Reward a Royal program was created to provide financial assistance to all participating Douglas College athletic teams. 

Royals International Award of Distinction 
This award was established in 2010 to reward and recognize international student athletes at Douglas College on any Royals team.
