The VIU Mariners continue to fill up the back of the net this season scoring four times in the first half on route to their third win. Shea Battie remains red hot to open the season and scored the first two goals of the game, opening the scoring in the seventh minute, then tallied another in the 14th minute. She now has five goals and is the leading scorer in the Conference. In the 23rd minute the Mariners struck again when Courtney Ingram scored her second in as many days, then Cassandra Hartwick finished the scoring in the 37th minute.

Keeper Melanie Osborne made three saves and records her second shutout of the weekend.
