A walk-off home run propelled DC Conference to a decisive, dramatic victory over Skagit Valley, 7-5. DC Conference trailed 5-4 in the bottom of the seventh inning when Natasha Bedard homered on a 0-1 count, scoring three runs.

 

Skagit Valley scored three runs in the fourth inning, but DC Conference still managed to pull out the victory. #13 and #11 each drove in runs during the inning.

 

Skagit Valley got on the board in the first inning when #12 doubled on a 2-0 count, scoring two runs.

 

Jessica Podskalny pitched DC Conference to victory. She went four innings, allowing one run on two hits and striking out four.

 

Kira Staley started the game for DC Conference. She lasted three innings, allowing four hits and four runs while striking out one.

 

Kimberly Anderson went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead DC Conference in hits.

Skagit Valley didn't commit a single error in the field. #8 had seven chances in the field, the most on the team.
