Royals Comeback to Beat Clark College

Royals Comeback to Beat Clark College

The Royals Softball team battled through an early challenge to start their NWAC Softball Championship. Clark College came in ranked the 16th seed but gave the Royals plenty to think about, taking a two run lead in the fourth. After a whirlwind 6th inning, the Royals found themselves down by two runs. Needing to keep the score close the team tossed out all three Clark players and proceeded to the batting mound. A double from captain Jordan Britten-Yung brought Kolby Hamilton home to bring the game within one. Needing a big swing, Michaela Moore stepped up to bat and smashed a walk-off home run to seal the game for the Royals. Moore finished with 4 hits, and three RBI. Jordan Britten-Yung had three RBI on the day, as well as Bella Kennedy.
